CT Crane Rental

Crane rental in Waterbury and the Naugatuck Valley

This is home base. Boom trucks and hydraulic cranes are minutes from the Route 8 and I-84 interchange, so short-notice picks in Waterbury, Naugatuck, Watertown, Wolcott and Middlebury are realistic.

What we lift around Waterbury

  • Rooftop HVAC on the retail corridors. Package unit swaps along Wolcott Street, Chase Avenue, Reidville Drive and the Brass Mill Center area. Lot-based picks, no street permit, usually inside the 4-hour minimum.
  • Mill building work. The brass-era buildings on South Main, Mill Street, Thomaston Avenue and in the Freight Street district need cranes for roof units, steel repairs and machinery moves through old window openings. We have the reach for deep setbacks and the mats for soft yards.
  • Industrial parks. Machinery sets and generator pads at Captain Neville Drive, Waterbury Industrial Commons, and the Naugatuck Great Hill and Rubber Avenue corridors.
  • Trees over houses in the hill towns. Middlebury, Woodbury, Southbury, Prospect and Bethany have big oaks and dying ash over houses on steep lots. A crane on the driveway beats a two-day climb.
  • Hospital and school campuses. Saint Mary's, Waterbury Hospital, Post University and the public schools all run rooftop equipment that comes due for replacement; we work night and weekend windows when facilities need it.

Setup and access notes

Waterbury's hills matter. Streets on Town Plot, Bunker Hill and the Overlook neighborhood are steep and narrow; we size the crane for the real reach after the truck is parked level, not the reach on paper. Downtown picks near the Green or on Bank Street usually need a one-day street occupancy permit from the city, which takes about a week. The Mixmaster reconstruction and Route 8 work can affect travel times for oversize loads; we route around it.
